Howler Monkey Hotel
Cabuya, Montezuma, Costa Rica
We are offering 2 nights for the price of one until December 15, 2016. This does not include the 13% hotel tax.
The Howler Monkey Hotel is a little off-the-beaten path adventure hotel in the fishing village of Cabuya, a few minutes from Montezuma, Costa Rica. It is the ideal spot for a Costa Rica family vacation to get away from the busy crowds of Montezuma and enjoy the local pace of life.
The Howler Monkey Hotel is next to the Cabo Blanco Absolute Nature Reserve, at the southern tip of the Nicoya Peninsula. Cabuya has 2 supermarkets, a bakery, a bar and a few restaurants within 10-minute walking distance from the hotel.
Not only is the Howler Monkey Hotel a jungle hotel, it has its own private beach seen from each cabin. The cabins have two floors: the first floor contains a bathroom with a shower, a kitchen and an outdoor dining patio. The bedroom is on the upper level and has room for up to six persons in the bigger cabins.
You can unwind by the pool or in your hammock, or you can stroll along the hibiscus-lined lanes, watch the fishermen bring in their catch, or beachcomb along the deserted beaches and explore Cabuya. And yes, you will hear the howler monkeys roar and possibly see them up in the canopy over the pool.
Jim O'Callaghan is the owner. He is fluent in English and Spanish and can help you arrange fishing trips and other activities in the area.
The Howler Monkey Hotel is a member of the Adventure Hotels of Costa Rica, and strives to make your stay as pleasant as possible. It would be our pleasure to be part of your Costa Rica family vacation.
