The Howler Monkey Hotel is a little off-the-beaten path beachside hotel in the fishing village of Cabuya, a few minutes from Montezuma, Costa Rica. It is the ideal spot to get away from the busy crowds of Montezuma and enjoy the local pace of life.
Five cabins, reminescent of tree-houses, are arranged around the pool. The cabins are surrounded by the jungle, and each has an ocean view.
The Howler Monkey Hotel is walking distance to the town's two supermarkets, bakery, bar and few restaurants.
It is close to the Cabo Blanco Absolute Nature Reserve and in the migratory path of local howler and white-faced capuchin monkeys.
You can often see howler monkeys, capuchins, iguanas, and a multitude of birds in the canopy above the cabins and pool.
The chalet-style cabins have two floors with bedrooms on the top level. The kitchen, outdoor dining area and bathroom are on the ground level.
It is the perfect spot to unwind by the pool, read a book in a hammock, or beachcomb along the deserted beaches and explore Cabuya. And yes, you will hear the howler monkeys roar.
At the Howler Monkey Hotel of Costa Rica we strive to make your stay as pleasant as possible. To reserve a cabin you can send us an email, or call us at 506-2642-0303.
